Lollers.

This sweet pensioners-duo from Ohio sure knows how to start a party! It’s truly incredible what Joe & Maggie Loller managed to do with an old loopstation left behind by on of their sons..
They managed to create their own style, which could be best described as singalong - avant garde..
They live in a camper with a cute little duck called Quack.
Their music is creating a stir in the avant garde crack house scene at the moment, after one of their tapes got leaked. In the beginning the Lollers where not very happy with all the excitement arount their front door.
But now they completly accepted their fans and even perform their incredibly weird but cool music live!!  The result of them ending up at squat parties and underground raves is sure an odd sight, but in general this lovely couple is fully accepted! They do what they love and what they do best!
It’s amazing that this duo is not world wide famous (yet!) , but the future is bright for the Lollers!

Dames & Herenkoor ‘ Wablief’.

The organist from this lovely folk choir is nobody less then Mr. W. Bennebroeck. He let the Ladies and Gentlemen of his choir ‘Wablief’
enjoy their voices like they have never enjoyed them before!
Their repertoire consists of old school Dutch and Latin songs.
They also sing a lot in the pre-historic gregorian way, which made them win many cultural prizes! Dames & Herenkoor ‘Wablief’ is not only an outstanding choir, they are also known as very sweet people, always ready to sing for charity events or brightening up any occasion.
They enjoy (besides singing) going on holidays together, and are a pretty close harmony group because of that!

Dames & Herenkoor ‘Wablief’ sings high and low for every occasion.
Every sunday you can hear their angel-like voices in the church of Brunsum (holland), but they also sing at weddings, funerals and birthdays!

Swamp.

This amazing cult noise band from Amsterdam does more things than smoking joints and banging the cookie crumbles! Their cutting edge aproach to sound has delivered them several followers and strange groupies since they started in the early 70’s. Now they moved on still thinking about the good old days!

And good old days they where! Lucky for us they kept an archive of their handsome music experiments, and were easy to be conviced that they needed to be a part of the totally shit experience! Not because their music is shit, but because everyone has to know this cult band! It’s part of history!

Miniature madness.

Miniature Madness was formed in 2007 in Moscow, Russia. Their identities are quite mysterious, but a little bird has told us that the singer is a chimpanzee, and that all members were once working for the Moscow Circus, but that this fact should Never, Ever, be mentioned to either one of them.

Miniature Madness first demo tape, ‘the madness within the madness’ was recorded in 2008 and it featured a
fast, death metal jazz avantgarde balkan anarcho gypsy style that also managed to incorporate the sounds of punk and utter lunacy.
After this first demo tape became an underground cult hit, miniture madness became unstoppable! They started to tour far away and inside their own country, and might be coming to London very soon.
Every gig they do is jam-packed with lots of positive energy, enjoyed by the lucky ones who have spotted them!
They are fun, great musicians with a good vibe attitude!

Die Staubsauger.

Die Staubsauger are not a liveband, but come together simply to make songs for the sake of it. Anything goes. All is well. Life is beautiful (but deceptive).
The main person behind this great band plays the guitar pretty well but also has a bunch of hip hop skills to die for! HIs flow is like his groove straight from the heart!
Die Staubsauger brings good vibes and great songs about life!
From growing up in the ghetto, to the first love! Staubsauger’s songs are helpful for young kids and old granny’s! In fact everybody loves Die Staubsauger!

He is a producer that produces everything as long as its good!
Formerly known as Mithra he released lots of free releases with simply beautiful electronica!
Now under new management as ‘my gloomy machine’ he creates music without boundries.
From Breakcore, Metal, Noise and electroacoustic and probably much more!
His creativity is never ending and his wicked mixes are very enjoyable!
All the way from Canada he sends his tunes into the world! grunting and growling and with great programming skills,
he conquers and destroys everything what’s on his way!

My gloomy machine

the home hobo’s are a group of intellectual homeless people meeting up every friday at their local salvation army point.
Here they are not just talking about the things they do in their life, they also are actively involved in music therapy.
Every session they *try* to stay sober to record their favourite instruments like it’s never been done before.

They didn’t release an album yet, but have lots of home made tapes. (which they sell at local salvation army related events.)
They try to hang out in the street together to perform their compositions in front of an audience,
but it never got a real succes. We can’t blame the booze or the smell, the home hobo’s musical taste is just far ahead of their time!

The RaaskalBOMfukkerZ (gibberish bomb-fuckers) is a two-person battalion, which operates from the squatted freeports of the Netherlands, mainly Amsterdam. In 2004 they started operating their guerrilla battle for both more artistic & political balls as sheer insanity in Dutch hip hop and far beyond. This resulted in notorious costumed live-shows, in which experimental beats caused by uninsured illegal operations of Dr. Snoodaard are combined with unhygienic sample gear and boards. Upon this the Formulator (f.k.a. the Silent Partner) erupts combinations of (un-) conscious lyrix, stomachetwisting (sound-) poetic eruptions and unrecognizable human beat boxing-sessions.

A bewildering hit at countless festivals, clubs and squats. They believe intellectual property is theft and every soul is free to upload, download or remix their stuff.
During Dutch Punch festival in Russia the RaaskalBOMfukkerZ again proved themselves as a transnational and refreshing antidote in an age of semi-rational semi-democratic billboard cynicism. Let insanity and imagination reign supreme and most of all: let there be gibberish. Beyond any border

Dest 3000.

In the beginning of the century Dest 3000 was locked up in a lovely funny farm.
There was a piano and a old school tape recorder.
Dest 3000 recorded this piano with his tape recorder because he had nothing better to do.
Even though he thought it was utterly shit what he had created, he managed to burn it on a cd.
After years of dusting away he found this masterful album back again and found a great track for the totally shit compilation. Which is of course a true psychedelic masterpiece!
Enjoy it if you are completely crazy or utterly stoned! Good shit!
Nowadays Dest3000 makes breaktechjungle tracks, but doesn’t like boxes.
He wants to create music in every genre existing and probably got a secret agenda of taking over the world..

Sam Bucket & Fireman Fred

Sam Bucket & Fireman Fred. Who are they you might ask?
Well Sam Bucket attended Guildhall School of Music and Drama and attained a BMus(Hons) degree under the direction of Christian Forshaw and John Harle. He is the quartets resident multi instrumentalist, doubling on flute, clarinet, oboe and bassoon. He plays with numerous soul and function bands, leads his own jazz band and is the saxophonist for the Essex Sinfonia. He also teaches African drumming and salsa for the Holborn  Borough of Havering. Fireman Fred is Fireman Fred Is Frier pan bet is Fireman fred is Fireman Fred! frier pan fred is a multi instrumentalist and loves his green gardens. He plays golf in his spare time and has a balloon fetish.
Fireman Fred met Sam Bucket when they where both hiking in Alaska. That was along time ago. Sam Bucket saved Fireman Fred when he got stuck in a tree.
When Fireman Fred And Sam Bucket play at your party you can always offer them a cake!

Funk-ulo is a high-energy band that has elevated the Funk sound to a new level of creativity.  The Funk-ulo’s unique style fuses soul’s brass band vocals with old school funk, rock, reggae, and modern and traditional jazz.  In just four years, this band has developed a complex repertoire that has generated a loyal national fan base.  Their albums, Pocket Full of Stars and funky town Style, the extensive list of collaborating master musicians, and the band’s full time coast-to-coast touring have all contributed to their well-deserved success. And Now finally after many years they are featured for the first time in their life on our very own totally shit compilation nummero duo! merci!

Dj4eyes.

Dj4eyes, born Michiel van Kampen in 1976, is a Dutch DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. Although he has used many aliases in the past, he is best known for his work as DJ4eyes. He had an interest for music since the age of twelve. When he was fourteen he decided to dedicate more time to it and began DJing professionally at school parties and then moved on to become a resident DJ at several clubs in the Netherlands.

In 2003 he started to produce music himself. Through friends, Lola & Jan became acquainted with his with his music, and recognised this unique talent straight away.
An evil twist of fate occurred, in 2005 a virus erased all files from Dj4eyes computer, and his music seemed to be lost forever.. Very sad about this, Dj4eyes stopped producing tunes & briefly pursued a career in mail delivery.
Fortunately, after scanning long dead hard drives, 1000s of cd’s, and even scanning old zip disks, we managed to find a very rare video version of his first and possibly most brilliant work!!!

His debut single, ‘Tease’, is a genuine minimalist masterpiece, which you may have to listen to more than once to find the complex simplicity & simple complexity of a true genius unfold for your ears…
A guaranteed floor filler for all your parties, dark but still joyful, brilliantly visual, simply delicious!

The Harbourdeers.

The Harbourdeers are a cult  movement discovered in the late 50’s by D.H S.Lassie in the woods of muswell,
they where living without any contact of the modern civilisation as we know it…
The field recordings of the infamous harbourdeers cult are recorded in secret by scientistic Borskwa and his assistant Kremzip
and through a long way the incredible music and sounds travelled and came in the ears of Lola and Jan (the founders of Gattoblaster)
and decided to spread the word of these peaceful harbourdeer figures.
they have actually never been seen yet and probably you haven’t heard anything like them before.

Wolfseule.

Dorothea is someone who creates dark and gloomy atmospheres
under her alter ego ‘wolfseule‘
with a sound that is far from easy to digest.
Her tracks are highly enriched with metaphorical
imaging and offer the audience a unique experience.
She loves lighthouses!

Harry Haller.

Harry Haller (Cadiz, 1978) is a one mand band project for experimental melodies development.
His sound contains ukelele, casiotones, samples and loops.
Many years ago he played in bands like The Supermix, Bizarro or Mira Lobe.
Actually he participates in Scumm and Montevideo too.
His first EP, called “Gente igual en todas partes” (”Same people everywhere”),
appears at the end of 2008 under the ghostly label Garrafon Records,
and one of these songs was also compilated for Sevilla Indiferente Vol.2.
Now he’s working in a new CD-R titled “Escarabajos y amapolas” (”Beetles and poppies”).

Manja Wagonrijder.

Manja Wagonrijder is a  very popular international deejay and house producer from Holland.
For many years she somewhere appeared on a list of ‘international dj of the year’,
and has played all over the world and on all major events worldwide.

Manja Wagonrijder was born in Den Ilp in 1964, to parents originally from Russia (they later moved back after she grew up). Manja began DJing at the TENDER age of seven, selecting records from her mothers stack of disco records.
She was buying her own records soon after, and owned her first pair of turntables at the age of 11.
The rest of her teens was spent making spare money at any event she could DJ!
And what a wicked DJ she is!!!

Manja Wagonrijder produced a track specially for the Totally Shit compilation.

Henry Walmsley.

Henry Walmsley is a full time electronics engineer and part time electronic musician,
creating Ambisonic surround-sound tunes on his home-built analogue synth and studio equipment. 
After a long day slaving over a hot synth,
Henry likes nothing better than relaxing with a lovely cup of tea, and possibly a biscuit.

Das Neurenberg Trio.

Das Neurenberg Trio is a band from Germany, that integrates vocals with drum machines, analog synths and electronic/punk elements.
They began releasing albums in 1997 under the pseudodonym  ‘Deutschland uber alles’,  But had to change their name for unknown legal  reasons.
After a succesfull tour through america, they where picked up by Clark Jenkins (Detroinoid records) and are now recognized, honoured and praised for their
cold as ice pumping electro trash sound worldwide.
Das Neurenberg Trio is recording an album with Yoko Lennon  and hopefully will be released at the end of 2010.
