Gattoblaster received so many shit tracks that we have decided to make multiple totally shit albums! All of them are ofcource top qualtiy tracks carefully selected by a group of critics, also known as the ‘members of the shit board’
High Quality music and entertainment is where they are about!
Annyway to keep you updated ;what’s going on with the forthcomming compilation(s)?

In one word alot! And soon (pretty soon!)you can enjoy one of the first great collections of utterly totally shit music! Intimate stuff!

Oo is an  instrument & Bubu’s  show at the bonnefanten museum was  a succes!
Oo and Bubu where received by a cute little harmonium,
+ a jazz drum kit and became good musical friends straight away!!

The gig was the last in a series of Live in the Living concerts held at the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht as part of the exhibition Exile on Main St.
These concerts were all completely acoustic, so no microphones, no amps, and with limited seats, to create a truly unique intimate experience.
Also Matt Eliott did enjoy himself (and the public too) by performing his beautiful gloomy songs.

Live in the Living Concert Bonnefantenmuseum 2 juli, 20.30, Maastricht (NL)

Matt Elliot

At the end of the nineties Matt Elliot produced several albums as the Third Eye Foundation  with orchestral and sometimes quite haunting drum ‘n’ bass music. Since 2003 he produces acoustically flavoured music going by his own name. As a singer/songwriter he is not inspired by the American tradition but by the European. You can find Greek, Spanish and Slavic influences in his songs. In 2007 the label Ici d’Ailleurs released the cd ‘Howling Songs’, the fourth album Elliot made under his own name and the final part of his Songs-trilogy. The other parts are ‘Drinking Songs’ and ‘Failing Songs’. Matt Elliott’s songs deal with human shortcomings and human failure.

Oo is an Instrument

Behind this name is Bloem de Wilde de Ligny. In 1999 she was on the verge of breakthrough with her debut album ‘Zink’, but to maintain her freedom she withdrew from the Dutch music scene. She studied fine art in Rotterdam and moved to London. She developed herself as a multidisciplinary artist: not only does she make music, but also installations and video art. Currently she is working on the album ‘the Song the Ship’, a collection of intimate songs on which she accompanies herself solely on piano or harmonium. This new repertoire will be central on her concert in Maastricht, her first gig on Dutch soil in several years. She will be accompanied by Italian drummer/percussionist Bubu.

The combination Elliott/Oo is an Instrument is not surprising. Bloem feels musically strongly influenced by the work of Matt Elliot and his Third Eye Foundation, even though she always went her own musical way.

With this concert the series of Live in the Living concerts concludes. As with previous concerts, musicians are chosen that are part of the works that thrive best in small, intimate spaces. The acoustically beautiful Rossikamer of the museum has a capacity of sixty seats.

To be sure of a seat one can make a reservation through http://www.bonnefantenmuseum.nl , Exile Parallel.

Entry is € 8; concessions € 4. This includes the visit to the Exile on Main St.  The concert starts at 20.30. The exhibition can be seen from 11 in the morning.
